How do I find my ring size?

Request a Ring Sizer


   First, review our size guide for the best practices on finding your size. We use US ring sizing, other conversions can be found on the size guide.

   Want to ensure the perfect fit for your upcoming ring purchase? Requesting a free ring sizer is simple:

I need to request a different size, how can I order half and quarter sizes?

Ordering Half or Quarter Sizes: Add the ring to your cart, and go to the cart page and find the order notes section. Type your request for half or quarter size in the text box before you check out.

How do I find my bracelet/necklace size?

Please note that the size guide provided is a general reference, and individual variations may occur. It's always recommended to consult with a professional jeweler or try on jewelry in person at one of our stockists to ensure the most accurate fit.

Necklace Length Size Chart

The diagram below shows the approximate drape placement of various lengths.

  1. Determine the desired necklace length by considering personal preference and the style of the necklace.
  2. Use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string to measure the desired length around your neck.
  3. Hold the tape or string where you want the necklace to fall, considering factors like collarbone height or chest area.
  4. Measure the length in inches or centimeters, and refer to a necklace length guide to select the appropriate size.

Ordering Half or Quarter Sizes:
Add the ring to your cart, and go to the cart page and find the order notes section. Type your request for half or quarter size in the text box before you check out.

Important Note:
For all custom rings, and rings with engravings, its recommended to have your finger sized by a professional jeweler. Not all ring styles can be resized later, so it is important to order the correct size ring.  If you have sizing questions or need assistance, send a message to hello@morgainefaye.com.

 

Bracelet Size Guide

   

  1. Measure your wrist size using a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string.
  2. Wrap the measuring tape or string snugly around your wrist, just below the wrist bone.
  3. Mark the point where the tape or string overlaps, and measure the length in inches or centimeters.
  4. Add additional length based on your desired fit. For a snug fit, add ¼ to ½ inch. For a looser fit, add ¾ to 1 inch.
  5. Use the measurement to select the closest bracelet size
Do you offer payment plans?

How do I care for my jewelry?

Jewelry Care

   We take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our jewelry. By following these care guidelines, you can ensure that your cherished pieces remain radiant for years to come.

Cleaning

  Regularly clean your jewelry using mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth, or for more persistent dirt, a soft toothbrush.

  Gently rub the surface of the jewelry to remove dirt, oils, and residue. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can scratch or damage the metal.

Storage

  Store each piece of jewelry in a separate compartment or pouch to prevent scratching or tangling. Your Morgaine Faye jewelry will come with a drawstring pouch that is perfect for storage and travel.

   Keep your jewelry away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humid environments, as these can accelerate tarnishing and discoloration.

Avoid Chemicals

  Remove your jewelry before engaging in activities that involve chemicals, such as swimming in chlorinated pools, using cleaning agents, or applying beauty products like lotions, perfumes, or hairsprays.

  Chemicals can react with the metal and gemstones, causing discoloration or damage.

Gentle Handling

  Handle your jewelry with care, as excessive force or bending can lead to structural damage.

   Put on your jewelry after applying cosmetics and avoid wearing it during activities that may expose it to impact or excessive stress.

Professional Maintenance

  Schedule periodic professional inspections and maintenance for your jewels.

   A professional jeweler can check for loose stones, worn prongs, or any signs of damage, ensuring timely repairs and preventing further issues.

Tarnish Prevention

   To minimize tarnishing, store your precious metal jewelry in anti-tarnish pouches or jewelry boxes lined with tarnish-resistant material.

   Using anti-tarnish strips or silica gel packets in your storage containers can help absorb moisture and slow down the tarnishing process.

   Remember, even with proper care, precious metals can naturally develop a patina over time. This adds character and uniqueness to your jewelry. However, if you prefer the original shine, professional polishing can restore its luster.

Patina

Some items feature a dark patina on the metal. This will gradually change over time and is affected by frequency of wear, environmental factors and each person's individual body chemistry.

If you would like to have the patina re-applied, we offer service at a small fee. Please contact hello@morgainefaye.com.

 

How do I choose a stone?

The hardest types of gemstones, particularly suitable for bridal jewelry and everyday wear, are those with a high level of hardness on the Mohs scale. The Mohs scale measures a gemstone's resistance to scratching, and the higher the number, the harder the gemstone. Gemstones with greater hardness are preferred for everyday designs due to their superior durability and ability to withstand daily wear, making them perfect for long-lasting, cherished pieces.

  1. Diamonds: Diamonds are the hardest gemstones, ranking 10 on the Mohs scale. Their exceptional hardness ensures that they can withstand daily wear and tear without scratching or losing their brilliance. This makes diamonds the ideal choice for engagement rings and other bridal jewelry, as they symbolize everlasting love and resilience.
  2. Sapphires: Sapphires, ranking 9 on the Mohs scale, are also an excellent choice for bridal jewelry. Their hardness makes them highly resistant to scratches and abrasions, making them suitable for rings, necklaces, and bracelets that will be worn regularly.
  3. Rubies: Rubies, like sapphires, have a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. Their toughness and durability make them well-suited for engagement rings and other bridal pieces, where they can endure daily wear while maintaining their intense red hue, symbolizing passion and love.

Do you offer repair and cleaning services?

Repairs

If your order arrives with any issues, please let us know right away. All orders are covered for 30 days for any structural flaws or loose stones. After 30 days, wear and tear that is a result from regular use will be repaired for a reasonable fee.

We offer a range of jewelry repair services, including but not limited to:

  •      Bezel/Prong tightening
  •      Stone replacement
  •      Chain or bracelet repair
  •      Engraving services
  •      Clasp or closure repair

The cost of repairs will vary depending on the type and extent of the damage, materials used, and the labor involved. Upon evaluation, we will provide you with a cost estimate for your approval before proceeding with the repairs.

What is your refund/exchange/return policy?

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange an item, please carefully read our policy below and follow the instructions accordingly. For any questions or assistance, contact us at hello@morgainefaye.com.

Exchanges:

  • Exchanges must be requested within 10 days of receiving the item.
  • The item to be exchanged must be in its original condition and unworn.
  • Please return the item in its original packaging to ensure safe transit.
  • Once we receive the item, we will process the exchange and provide you with store credit for the value of the item.

Returns:

  • Returns must be requested within 10 days of receiving the item.
  • The item must be in its original, unworn condition, and returned in the original packaging.
  • Shipping costs for returns will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • A restocking fee of 10% of the item cost, less shipping will be applied.
  • Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and issue a refund via the original payment method, excluding shipping costs.

Note:

  • One-of-a-kind, custom, or personalized items are not eligible for return or exchange. International orders are final sale.

How to Request an Exchange or Return:

  1. Contact us at hello@morgainefaye.com within 10 days of receiving your order to initiate the process.
  2. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to exchange or return, and the reason for the request.
  3. We will provide you with further instructions on how to proceed with the exchange or return.

Initiate a Return In Your Customer Account:

  1. Log in to your customer account on our website.
  2. Go to the "My Orders" section, where you'll find a list of your past purchases.
  3. Select the order containing the item you wish to return.
  4. Click on the "Return Items" button next to the relevant product.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to provide details about the return reason and any additional notes.
  6. Once your return request is submitted, our team will review it promptly.
  7. You'll receive further instructions via email regarding the return process.


Please ensure that all items are securely packaged to avoid damage during transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return or exchange, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Once we receive and inspect the item, we will promptly process your exchange or refund as per the policy mentioned above.

Once payment your payment has been processed, your order is confirmed and will go immediately into production.
Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 7-10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Please note that processing times may vary during peak seasons or for customized or special order items.

Order Tracking

We provide order tracking information for all shipped orders.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number and instructions on how to track your package.
You can also access the tracking information by logging into your account on our website.

 

Tracking Your Order:
  1. Once your order has been shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email.
  2. Visit the carrier website and navigate to the "Track & Manage" section.
  3. Enter your tracking number in the designated field and click "Track."
  4. You will then be able to view the current status and location of your package.
Enabling Tracking Notifications:
  1. To receive tracking notifications directly to your email or mobile device, you can sign up for tracking updates.
  2. On the carrier website, navigate to the "Track & Manage" section and select "Informed Delivery" from the dropdown menu.

      Please note: All international orders are final sale. We currently offer shipping the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. If you are outside of these destinations, message hello@morgainefaye.com and we can provide you with detailed assistance. 

      Shipping to Italy is available by request, however,  there are certain stipulations from customs:

      -The package must be shipped via USPS Priority International mail, estimated cost is at least $45 USD
      -The package is not eligible to be insured.
      -The package must have an invoice describing the contents and value visible on the outside.
      -The package may incur import fees, which you/the recipient are responsible for.
      Due to these stipulations, it is our policy that all international purchases are final sale. If you agree to these terms, email hello@morgainefaye.com before ordering and we will arrange your shipping details.

                                      Once payment your payment has been processed, your order is confirmed and will go immediately into production.
                                      Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 7-10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
                                      Please note that processing times may vary during peak seasons or for customized or special order items.

                                      Order Tracking

                                      We provide order tracking information for all shipped orders.
                                      Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number and instructions on how to track your package.
                                      You can also access the tracking information by logging into your account on our website.

                                      1. Once your order has been shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email.
                                      2. Visit the carrier website and navigate to the "Track & Manage" section.
                                      3. Enter your tracking number in the designated field and click "Track."
                                      4. You will then be able to view the current status and location of your package.
                                      Enabling Tracking Notifications:
                                      1. To receive tracking notifications directly to your email or mobile device, you can sign up for tracking updates.
                                      2. On the carrier website, navigate to the "Track & Manage" section and select "Informed Delivery" from the dropdown menu.
                                      3. Follow the instructions to create an account or log in if you already have one.
                                      4. Once you're logged in, you can enable tracking notifications for your specific tracking number.
                                      5. The carrier will then send you updates on the delivery progress of your package, including expected delivery dates and any important status changes.

                                        Shipping Methods and Carriers

                                        We offer USPS, UPS, ad DHL to accommodate your preferences and delivery needs.Shipping rates for each will be displayed during the checkout process.

                                          Shipping Destinations

                                          Please note: All international orders are final sale. We currently offer shipping the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. If you are outside of these destinations, message hello@morgainefaye.com and we can provide you with detailed assistance. 

                                          Shipping to Italy is available by request, however,  there are certain stipulations from customs:

                                          -The package must be shipped via USPS Priority International mail, estimated cost is at least $45 USD
                                          -The package is not eligible to be insured.
                                          -The package must have an invoice describing the contents and value visible on the outside.
                                          -The package may incur import fees, which you/the recipient are responsible for.
                                          Due to these stipulations, it is our policy that all international purchases are final sale. If you agree to these terms, email hello@morgainefaye.com before ordering and we will arrange your shipping details.

                                            Shipping Fees

                                            Shipping fees are calculated based on the selected shipping method, destination, and the total value of your order.
                                            The applicable shipping fees will be displayed during the checkout process.

                                              Estimated Delivery Times

                                              Once your order is shipped, the estimated delivery time will depend on the selected shipping method and the destination.
                                              While we strive to provide accurate estimates, please note that actual delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances, customs delays, or other factors beyond our control. we recommend turning on tracking notifications on the carriers website to receive up to the minute delivery updates.

                                                Shipping Insurance

                                                We take every precaution to ensure that your package arrives safely.
                                                For added peace of mind, we provide shipping insurance on all orders over $250, covering any loss or damage during transit.

                                                  International Shipping

                                                  All international orders are final sale. If you need a repair for an international order, please contact us at hello@morgainefaye.com.
                                                  For international orders, please be aware that customs procedures and import regulations may apply.
                                                  These procedures can cause delays beyond our control, and any associated fees or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
                                                  We recommend reviewing your country's customs regulations and contacting your local customs office for further information.

                                                  Please note: All of my custom forms will have accurate descriptions of contents and will reflect the full value of the items purchased. I refuse to falsify custom forms and may cancel your order if you make this request.

                                                  Rush Orders

                                                  Please message us at hello@morgainefaye.com if you are working within a time restraint and we will do our best to work with you. In some cases, a rush fee may be incurred.

                                                  Missed Delivery

                                                  If you miss a signature delivery, you can reschedule delivery by contacting your local post office using your tracking information.

                                                  Lost/Stolen Packages

                                                  If your tracking information indicates that your package has been delivered but you haven't received it, please reach out to us at hello@morgainefaye.com immediately. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost or missing packages that are marked as successfully delivered to the specified address.  

                                                  Damaged or Tampered Packages

                                                  If your package arrives damaged or appears to have been tampered with, please ensure that you save all the packaging materials and take photographs of them immediately. These photographs will be required for claim purposes. Morgaine Faye will file a claim with UPS, and the claim processing time usually takes approximately 5-8 weeks. It is necessary for us to resolve these claims before we can proceed with refunding or remaking any outstanding pieces.
